Quick guide for teaching staff on using Learning Management System (Moodle) and Lecture Capture System (Panopto) (November 14, 2019)

Moodle and Panopto are the centrally supported Learning Management System and Lecture Capture System in HKU.
 
Teachers are recommended to use Moodle to share the course materials to students and use Panopto to deliver video lectures to students.
 
To upload course materials to students, please access the Moodle platform through HKU Portal—> My eLearning tab.
 
After entering the Moodle course, click the gear icon on the top right hand corner and select “Turn Editing On” to enable the editing mode. 
 
Click “Add an activity or Resource” link to add a “File” activity. 
 
Enter the name of the activity and upload the file under “File” section in the settings page.
