The Tutorial Sign-up application is designed for students to select tutorial groups of their enrolled courses, and for course teachers and course administrators to manage the tutorial group registration. The Tutorial Sign-up application can be access through the My eLearning tab of HKU Portal.

A. “Tutorial Sign-up” for Students
Students can enter the Tutorial Sign-up webpage through My eLearning tab in HKU Portal.
When students enter the Tutorial Sign-up webpage, a table of his/her enrolled courses are shown. If the course has tutorial groups, students can click the “Register” hyperlink and access to choose tutorial groups. If there is no tutorial groups for the course, the text “No tutorial group is created for this course” is displayed.
When student access the tutorial sign-up webpage of a particular course, the available tutorial groups are listed in a table as shown in Figure 2. The students can choose the tutorial groups which it is with the registration period and there is still available quota in the tutorial groups. The students can choose the tutorial group and press Submit button to confirm the registration.
B. “Tutorial Sign-up Management” for Teachers and Course Administrators
Teachers and course administrators can enter the Tutorial Sign-up webpage through My eLearning tab in HKU Portal.
The teachers or course administrators can click the hyperlink of “Tutorial Sign-up Management” to access the webpage as shown in Figure 3.
The Tutorial Sign-up Management webpage shows the details of the available tutorial groups for the course. Clicking the toggle button to show the list of student registration records.
The teachers and course administrators can also update the students’ tutorial groups registration on behalf of the students in the Tutorial Sign-up Management webpage. Clicking the toggle button will show the table of the tutorial groups details.
