Moodle Training Workshops

We run Moodle hands-on training courses for teachers and the Faculties’ support staff. Helping them get started quickly with more hands-on Moodle skills. The courses are conducted regularly and designed to cover a range of different aspects with different levels of expertise. The duration of each course is one hour. In general, two courses are offered in every week, allowing teachers with more flexible attendance and focused on their areas of interests. The Moodle hands-on courses that are being offered are:

  • [MOD-007] Using Scales and Outcomes [8]

Panopto Training Workshops

Panopto is the centrally managed lecture capture solution adopted by HKU. It can be easily used to record presentations, lectures, screencasts, events, and meetings from any laptop or suitable classrooms. Having been integrated with the existing IT infrastructure, teachers can login Panopto using their HKU portal account and students can view the recordings via their Moodle courses.

Teachers and eLearning support staff who would like to learn how to record, edit, share or manage their presentations and lectures are welcome to join these training courses.
